[Scripting Question] Is there a script I can add to my game to make a partner move on its own without deregistering them?

I think the title says it all, but if not I'll explain. In Essentials you can register a partner, but afterwards you can't make the partner move without deregistering them. Even then, the partner just completely disappears without letting the player cause them to move. I think it's just because the player is walking around with just the sprite of the partner and not the actual event.

Is there a script I can add so that I can make them move? Even playing animations would be fine. (i.e: Exclamation bubble or question bubble) If anyone has a script or an idea for it, please respond back because now this problem has grown annoying.
