    I don't own a GBA. I have a DS and a GBC. However I have emerald and I play it on my DS. Is there a way to transfer pokemon from the GBC games to my emerald without owning a GBA?
     
    No.
    1) You can't trade and/or migrate between a 2nd Gen game and a 3rd Gen game. This is the only gap between generations by now. 1st and 2nd can trade and 3rd and 4th can migrate. That's all.
    2) Even if you would, DS doesn't have a port for pre-DS extra accessories (though the DS battery charge plug is the same as in GBASP, I don't know about them)

    Its no big deal to me, I was looking at the prices of FR and LG when I came across Crystal. That was my first pokemon game that I got with my kiwi colored GBC and I loved that game, unfortunately my brother took it and got it stolen. Even though I can't trade with my other games I think I may get it just because I absolutely loved that game to death.
