well, the render is good, gives you an idea of mechanical tubing, but maybe you defined it too much. with something like that, it's best to, you know, make it blend more with the bg to match the 2D-ness of the pic.

Yeah I agree the render stands out way to much with the rest of sig maybe blur it some.

Hmm. I assume you mean the 3 spikes in front? Should I make the whole thing blended or only the edges?

yeah, you should blend in all 3 spikes, but... blend in everything, and gradually make it stand out x3
