3rd Gen Issues with the the little memory chip that saves data on FR/LG

    I once had a Pokemon Fire Red. I played it and played it, and took stuff from it etc.. One random time, it comes up with an error saying yadayada Chip is not installed, skipping intro and title and starting a new game instead. I rebooted, and it didn't come up again. Then a while later after I had stopped playing and took it back up, it came up with that error again, and again, and again. So I tossed it. Maybe a manufacturing mistake that grew into killing the save chip.

    So, I took my sisters LG which she didn't play and played it. Not too long ago, it came up with the error, though it worked after a reboot and works since.

    do you ever for example the game doesnt load properly so u blow into the game to clear any dust because that can kill things inside happened to my LG
