I was wondering if u put one of ur pkmn from r/s fr/lg etc.. and they were holding an item, does it get sent to D/P? bcuz there are some items that worked wonders for me in the old versions like the flute.. i saved a ton of money on awakenings bcuz if u played that flute(forgot what it was called) ur pkmn would wake up etc.. please respond...thanks guys

Yes you can, when that pokemon is transfered to D/P, that pokemon should be holding the item you gave it in R/S/E/FR/LG because the item also got transfered.

ok thanks man...saved me a lot of trouble, but another question...if u transfer a tm from lf/fr etc...and say its TM X for Example...and it has i dunno...say Fire punch..and in D/P TM X is like.. thunder bolt, does it change to thunder bolt when it gets transed?

    What???
There was never a Fire punch TM in the advance generation.
But yeah, whatever TM you give your pokemon will stay the same in D/P.

I think _Prince_ is right. Whether or not the number changes, the TM should remain the same. It'd be very weird if Nintendo chose the basic way of identifying items, yet it's possible, but highly unlikely. Once again I can't really have much of a say in this. =P

ok... every tm from the advanced generation has the same # as it is in d/p... the first 50 tm's r the same as the old(which only went up to 50)

well actually TM count is now 92 not 100
