it's kinda weird how

the golden poke balls appear when you level up by 5 levels but they have pretty small and lame rewards compared to some of the regular poke balls, which can give you thousands of coins easily. the colours should be swapped i think.

true! it's the first game i'm excited to see normal Pokéballs lol
plus golden balls should change to Ultra Balls, cmon Magikarp

I believe that their reasoning for the current system is that if you see a gold pokéball, it will always have coins. With the regular pokéball, you can get other things such as food. Just a color code, really. But it is rather ironic that the gold balls have way less value in regards to the player.
