IV Training What a nightmare Plz help

If this is breaking any rules please tell me but I gotten quite good at EV training im traing certain pokemon to be more evan and some to be full out attck and full out defence but thats not what i made this thread to talk about.
I have read some walk thourgh and i still don't get it i need some one to sit there and explain it very simply how do i IV train

EVs (Effort Values) are gained by battling certain Pokemon. IV's (Individual Values) are set when the Pokemon hatches, and cannot be changed.

You can EV Train a Pokemon however you like, by battling certain Pokemon as you already know.
The only way to get certain IVs is to breed. As I remember, 3 IVs can be passed down from either parents randomly, and the other 3 are randomly assigned. I'm sure someone else can expand :)

You can't IV train, since IVs are set in place at "birth". You can IV breed, but you're better off asking in the breeder's corner for detailed help.
