(I've never actually posted anything to Pokecommunity so I'm a bit lost TwT)
I had a pretty neat idea for a fangame a while back and just now decided that I'd like to actually do something with it. Problem with that though; I've never made a Pokemon fangame before and have literally no idea how any of it works!!! I decided to see if I could find someone here who could help me out with turning this... thing into a reality
guess I'll start by describing my idea...
The game takes place in the far-off future. Technology has advanced drastically since the time of the main-line Pokemon games we're familiar with. But one new piece of technology has peaked the interest of many; a device that allows its holder to travel to alternate universes through Ultra-space (I always thought the idea of Ultra-space was really cool and wanted to expand upon it). The main bulk of the game consists of the player entering and exploring these alternate universes and discovering the secrets that lie within.
The game begins with the player filling out a short survey (similar to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon) to determine which starter Pokemon they'll receive as part of their induction into the MSC (Multiverse Survey Corp). afterward they'll take on a few "trials" that will serve as a tutorial to help the player get adjusted to the games core gimmick of traversing the multiverse using the (device that I have not yet thought of a name for)
Features:
- new forms of Pokemon that are native to the alternate universes that the player would explore
- a wide variety of unique and otherworldly locations to explore
- multiple evil teams, each with their own motive and reasons for their goals
- a significantly darker story ("Pokemon Reborn" dark)
as of now this idea exists only in the form of a few concept sketches and... well... this post that you just read through...
again; I've never made a fangame before and have no idea how to go about it! I just wanted to get my idea out there to see if I could possibly find someone who could help me with this... thing

it's pretty barren right now and I'm honestly not sure what do to with it since (again) I've never done anything like this before
