So I recently bought a used copy of Platinum, since it's cheaper. Buying it, I figured that the game store would probably delete the file of the game before selling it, so there was no point in expecting some good pokemon on it. I was wrong.
When I checked the file on the game, I found an almost complete pokedex, and a ton of legendaries. (Including events) There were hacks, yes, but there were also a lot of non-hacks, which is amazing, considering this guy sold his game for a bit of store credit.

Has this kind of thing ever happened to you? I know it's kind of a rare thing, so probably not, but I though it was cool enough to make a thread about.

By the way, if this is in the wrong place, please move it.

When I bought a replacement Pearl, this guy had apparantly spent over 400 hours on it.

    And he sold it.

I read somewhere that someone got a secondhand Red (or was it Blue?) that had a Mew on it.

I've never bought a secondhand Pokémon game, so it hasn't happened to me. But I would delete the save file if I sold one, after picking it clean of anything of value, of course.

Well... Once when I bought a Pokémon Silver cartridge, it had like 7 Mew's and 8 Lugia's, a lvl 100 Typhlosion and a wrecked save file. True story... The guy probably hacked the game.
