    Anyone here have the Japanese version of the game but, fail to understand or comprehend any but of Japanese? I, for one, bought the game from some site in Japanese and it was really fun. Even though I don't know any Japanese I still made it all the way through the game and can't wait to get my hands on the English version so I can x-fer all my Pokemon over. Anyone else here do this?
    [first post just came over from another Pokemon forums who just got hacked heh]

    I'm trying to alleviate some of my anxiety by playing the JP ROM, but I don't understand the text either. Good thing I watched a clip of the english demo. :P

    Haha thats what I told my friend to do. Are you using NO$GBA? Because my friend said the files I gave him works great but when he gets finished w/ the first battle it just freezes. Very odd but, I don't know I encrypted the ROM and everything. Lol odd ;]

    I did that! I bought the Japanese Pearl version back when it first came out. Now I'm going to buy the english diamond version. Too bad my game crashed...and I restarted, even though it didn't help solve the save problem...

    I imported a Japanese Pearl without knowing that much Japanese. XP

    After awhile you get use to it. I remember after playing Pearl a ton I switched back to my US Emerald and wondered why everything was in English. XD I did the Darkrai and Shaymin glitches but that's it. I didn't want my game to blow up or get stuck.

    I also imported a Japanese Emerald for Pal Park. =D

    ...why didja do that? You sure that an American Emerald doesn't work for the Pal Park? Sure, it's a whole different language, but it's supposed to work initally.
    Unfortunately I can't really support this since I don't have the game and didn't really test it out, so I'm just basing this out of pure logic.

    Such a waste IMO, especially since D/P is out in NA in two days. <.<;;

    A US Emerald can't do Pal Park with a Japanese Pearl. Serebii proved it before I even got my games. I tried doing it and it didn't work. XD

    It wasn't really waste, I got two shiny Voltorbs from it. X3 (Not cloned, chaught almost in a row at the New Mauville.)

    And this was back in October and my parents got me my Japanese Emerald for Christmas.

    Ah I see. Well fortunately that's not gonna be the situation for European gamers hopefully, since the game's basically the same.

    (btw you're so, so lucky in getting two shiny Voltorbs... XD)

    Dude EXACTLY AS ME!!! I was exvcited so I didn't understand Japanese so I ordered it and the US Version just so I can Pal-Parkify them over to D/P.

    No I didn't do this, I've played my friends copy of Pokemon Diamond in Japanese. But I wont purchase a game that I dont really understand, if its in a different language

    Yeah, I agree with you on that one. I personally think that it completely destroys the whole point of enjoying a game, and makes you just want to complete it and get away from your current position so you don't get stuck. I'd much rather wait months for the English version to come out and actually play a game that I can fully understand, and hence enjoy.

    Well i'm also a collector of sorts. So I just had to have it ;]
