Well, besides Dr En Grey, does anyone here have any good info on Japanese metal bands, or something dark, and ambient, or technoish, like the song Hydra (Buzzout mix) from Dir En Grey! Looking for more bands to get into!

High and mighty color has a lot of good songs.

Vocaloid does too, believe it or not... but that's not for everyone.

HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR aren't much of an overall Japanese Metal band, though yes, some of their songs do have metal influence.

ギルガメッシュ is a Japanese Alternative Metal/Visual Kei band that I've been listening to quite a lot.
"Girugamesh is like heavy rock with gloomy undertones, but recently the band has been experimenting with more electronic pop-rock sounds."
I like listening to more of their ballad-ish songs with slow tempo and strong vocals like Crying Rain. But yeah, they have some pretty awesome songs. Their recent albums have more of a techno feel to them. Reason of Crying is an album I'd recommend.
You could try out some other Visual Kei bands. I don't really listen to much besides Girugamesh. Umm, yeah.
