Okay, so I need an electric type for my black two team. I am not sure which one is better and have not used either. Thanks in advance.

Use the Pikimal website for side by side comparison.
Personally I would choose Jolteon because it over powers Joltick is many stats especially speed which I find an important stat for lightning vs flying type.

Firstly, Joltik is the unevolved form of Galvantula. The one you're asking about is Galvantula.
