Just a curiosity and maybe a theory?

    Perhaps many of you will remember Season 1/Episode 15, in which the St. Anne sails into a storm and is capsized. My curiosity is this: is it possible that when the pikachus combined their attacks to defeat Team Rocket, their combined electricity ionized the ionosphere and triggered a storm, even possibly a rogue wave.
