Are there pokemon who has a power or attack that specifically complements Erika and Impostor Oak trainer cards (other than the original Moltres)?

I was in college before pokemon was big enough for me to notice it and my nephew talked me into playing. I don't do anything half way but when I'm done with something i tend to do something stupid like give all my commons/ uncommons to my wife so she can hand them out to her clients. Now my son is getting into pokemon and I like what he is learning about planning, statistics and strategy from the card game so I am getting back into it to encourage him. So many sets have come since the last time I looked at the game that there are huge gaps in my knowledge.

If you're referring to decking your opponent, Rhyperior bodes well. However, few decks can run it well, and its not a great strategy, especially because when used with Impostor Prof. Oak, you're playing in the unlimited environment... meaning your opponents are going to be setting up faster than you can deck them out, and lots of people run cards to get their DP back into their deck for just the reason that they won't.

Hey, thanks for the response. What sets are in limited tournament play right now? as a general rule is it like the last 6 sets? I am familiar with how "Type 2" works for magic. Where do I go to find out the tournament sets for pokemon?

As of now, Diamond/Pearl on is the modified set-list. That's the sets,

    -D/P
    -Secret Wonders
    -Mysterious Treasures
    -Great Encounters
    -Majestic Dawn
    -Legends Awakened

You can find out more at https://www.op.pokemon-tcg.com . To be honest, I'm not exactly sure how the rotation works. Hopefully though, all the DP will be in format until DPpt (diamond/pearl/platinum) is localised (its not out in Japan yet, nor is Stormfront out here in the west, so it will be for a while anyway).

Glad I could be of help!
