Those are really good! 7/10 It's just a bit blurred a bit from how you shaded.

Hm...while there is room for improvement (though I do understand that you're new and all), I do like that chikorita/espeon cross...it's rather cute...

It seems like you're saving the sprites in .jpg format. If it's possible for your program, don't do it - since that's what's causing the blurriness I see in each of your sprites - and instead try saving in either .gif or .png format (or even .bmp, which I know all MS paint programs have, but usually I don't advocate saving in that format since it's a format that gets large in filesize really quickly).
