Just Gimpin around

As you may have seen in the title, I´m showing my Gimp - made pictures here.
I just downloaded it a few days ago, and so the pics are not very good, but I like them.
Here are the first four, I´ll definitely make more.

First Gimp ever: Just a mountain landscape

Third: Tried to make some spots look like Cherryblooms (or whatever it´s called. Only know the japanese word "Sakura")

Fourth: Something like an artwork for a game I´m planning (I´ll not reveal anything, because it´s only in my head yet). It´s the hero, and as you may see, he´s an ice fighter. (A custom one, made by me, for RPG maker VX)

Please tell me what you think, even if you say it´s crap (but please explain why). Like I said, I´m just practicing, so I will get better. Any advices are appreciated.

Pretty good for a beginner. Keep practising. :D

One of the best ways to learn is by using tutorials. (The link cunningly disguised in the word "tutorials" is a large directory of tutorials for all sorts of software, I hope you find it useful.)

Don't rely on them too much, though.
