    I have a few suggestions.
    1) I have been seeing alot of Mods go through name changes. When they change their name, they lose post count and reputation. I think there should be a way in which the mod that has their name changed gets their post and rep back.

    2) I have a suggestion for a new forum/sub-forum. I think we should have a forum that discusses books. On PC we have many writers and I am sure that many of them would enjoy seeing a forum dedicated to books.

    The mod name change that is possible.Alexiz did that and books are already okay for Other Enterainment.
     
    I did what? O.o? Why people always drag the innocent one. As I said before I asked my new name to be modded and all that but Satoshi merged them. I never asked them to be merged.
    And the only way is if a mod name is merged and they wont be merged sincet hats what the staff decided. And if you see a new mod with a new name, its a new username, no chaneg or posted deletd or rep, you start off fresh, they just ask an admin to mod taht oen and demod the old name.

    I did not try to drag you in and I did not know that.So it's like what they did when they change Blue to Minchu and Piro Munike to Ryan.The merged them or something like that.

    Mods are allowed to get their accounts merged (as far as I know, anyway). Sometimes they just prefer to start afresh though.
    The book forum idea seems nice, maybe as a sub-forum for OW or something...? I'm not too sure that it would be active, though, but I guess we'll have to wait for higher staff to take a look at this. ^^
     
    No. We are not allowed to get names merged. If we were, wouldn't Blue have stayed as what he picked before?
    And book forum, sounds good but should be brought to the admins.

    1) Rules are Rules. Well Not only mods but 100's of users change ID's and lose posts and rep. Do you think they dont need it.

    2) This is a good idea but Books have never been that hot a Topic in PC.

    Mods aren't allowed to merge accounts since they receive the same treatment as members when they change names -if they choose to change names then it means that the new name is more important than their post count ^^

    I quite like the book idea, but im not sure what the real book-a-holics of PC think, and whether there are enough, so we'll see who replies to this thread ^^
     
    If someone decided to change their name, it would obviously be more important than their reputation or post count, so merging them wouldn't be the best idea IMO

    As for the Book Club... I think that would be a great idea. The only books in Other Entertainment are Harry Potter, and they're mainly discussing the movies. I for one would love to see a Book forum put up ^_^

    Merging mod accounts isn't allowed. (XD) If any member without Users in the Admin CP wants to change their name, they have to give up their postcount and reputation too. I didn't really mind, considering they're just silly numbers. ^_^;
     
    Books things are a good Idea but arent some kind of books not needed for Other Enterainment.
     
    The book idea is a fabulous one! ^^ Me's a book lover! =3 I guess I can make it pretty lively so book fanatics are sure to come and chat along with all the topics. But then, they'll count off the manga books? ><
     
    ._. We normally only create new subforums when we get overrun by a lot of threads on that subject because that way we know the forum will be well used. o_o There seems to be only one thread about a book in Other Entertainment, so I'm not too convinced. ^_^; I think it's a good idea, but we'd have to have more discussion on novels and books in general for it to really work, I think.
     
    I thought there was a way you could change your name without moving to another account. o_O; I've seen that in other forums.

    The book idea sounds okay. ^^

    1) Post count and rep are not important parts of the forum experience.

    2) The Other Entertainment forum serves as that fourm...
