Just rewatched the whole Indigo league

    From episode 76 "All Fired Up" to episode 83 "Palet Party Panic"

    It brought back memories of like 1998, that's for sure.
    I miss those care free days... :/

    Does anyone feel the same way?
     
    Oh my god... not another thread complaining about how much they miss the first series...
    I think a mod should make a thread for all the nostalgia....

    On topic-
    Theres nothing to miss, its the same thing happening in every season ash need to get 8 badges to get into the pokemon leauge......

    Doesn't sound like your much of a Pokémon fan saying they are all the same. And even if they are, Season one was the first.
    And back then, I was young and almost everyone was into the Pokémon TCG. So it was a huge united Pokéfan fest. That will never happen again.

    Actually they all follow the same format don't they? Just like the games. =/ You can't say someone's not a Pokémon fan for noticing the pattern.

    Memories of 1998? I don't remember those times being awfully good for me, but I do remember the anime getting me into the whole Pokémon franchise so I'm quite pleased about that.

    Although yes, these threads are getting far too common like the people who claim nothing is as good as Red and Blue.
     
    I just have a question. Where do all you people watch the old episodes? I can't find whole episodes on YouTube usually but I really want to relive Johto before the games come out so......

    I've been watching old episodes for screencapturing purposes and boy I think the anime right now is better than it's ever been. Those old Kanto episodes got so old and there's nothing that makes me more angry than hearing the first opening.

    Also Jigglypuff sucked.
     
    It's always fun to go back and watch the old episodes though. The Pokemon anime is just a little dull and monotonous since it basically just follows Ash's quest to the current region's Pokemon League, not to mention the COTD system.

    That hasn't deterred me from it however, and I'm finding myself enjoying the Diamond and Pearl series after watching (IMO) the mediocre Johto, Hoenn, and Battle Frontier arcs.

    There's nothing wrong with being nostalgic. It's fun to go back and watch the episodes of Pokemon that were my youth haha.
     
    I started watching pokemon today, and it was pretty okay. :D.

    I love how 1999 it looks. :3.

    XD Nice.

    It's pretty brutal (seriously) trying to watch it all the way through haha. By the time Johto was over I'm pretty sure I had no hair left because I pulled it all out. Although, underneath all the kid stuff, bad puns, and pointless Team Rocket moments (I love TR though), the Pokemon anime was a lot of fun to watch.

    Are the seasons your bro has dual-audio? I found the experience much more rewarding when I watched it in Japanese with subtitles. It's still okay in English though. Good luck haha.

    What? It was stating the obvious! That's like saying "Theres nothing to miss, its the same thing happening in every season, it has Pokémon in it."
    So it has the same base line for a story, they are still completely different from each other.
