You got a super cool certificate you could print off using a game boy printer.

Don't think you could get a mew legit
there is a cheat

Just search for it on google.

Theres a gltich for Mew, follow these instructions. (Not advertising, its the first result that came up for me on google)

As for completing the Pokedex, the above poster is correct, just a certificate. I think Pokemon Green and Red (the original Japanese releases) had a Mew reward for completing the pokedex.
