Has anyone noticed how mean the nurse is in the pokemon center? She heals your pokemon and then says "We hope to see you again!". She wants your pokemon to get hurt so you have to bring them back to the pokemon center.

It's long been known, and it's been used as material in 46297828979821 Pokémon webcomics already, not to mention just about every poorly written parody fanfiction. xD;

Exactly. It amazes me that this still isn't common knowledge. Let me explain...

You're a Pokémon trainer. The entire point of being a trainer (as it's the entire point of the games) is going out and catching/battling new Pokémon. And even the best trainer is bound to get their party injured at some point. This being common sense, of course the nurse knows this and is simply saying she hopes you'll show you're a good trainer by bringing your trusted partners back to get healed when they're injured.

And that is why the nurses hope to see you again.
