Keeping The Pokemon Small!

Does anyone else enjoy giving their Pokemon everstones, or else frantically mashing the B button to keep them small?

Right now I'm working on getting my cute little Starly to level 100. My Totodile has an Everstone because I don't like Croconaw or Feraligator nearly as much as Totodile, and when Dratini turned into Dragonair I immediately missed Dratini's cute little round, white nose.

One of my friends told me that doing this is just going to make my Pokemon really weak and lame, but I want to prove him wrong! :)

Are there any really good movesets for Totodile and Starly?

You can usually give Pokemon movesets similar to what their evolved forms have. If this is a Little Cup team, I believe you are limited to TM/HM moves, Egg moves, Move Tutor moves, and moves they can learn at or before Level 5.

You need to use fully evolved forms or you will get creamed. Feraligatr has enough trouble doing well...oh my lord Totodile will not do so well!

The exception is Little cup though. Little Cup is the metagame of the lowest evolved forms of Pokemon, so things like Abra, Munchlax, etc. are used. There you can use things like Totodile and Starly. However, I don't think anyone here has any expertise or experience with Little Cup. Smogon or somewhere else would probably be better if you're interested.

Aw. Mmm, whenever I hear I'm going to get creamed, I want to prove everyone wrong.
Now are we talking creamed as in, against other real-life trainers, or in the game?

Cause for real-life people, I can always use Flygon, Dragonair, Blastoise, and my Gardevoir...:)

I've never liked Little Cup. You'd need to teach your Pokémon a truckload of TMs, or hope they have good egg moves.

Anyway, I'd prefer to evolve my Pokémon. I really don't think appearance matters. A level 100 Starly would get beaned by a good Ice Beam. And a good Thunderbolt would result in one very fried Totodile.

Even though I like some of the pre-evolutions of some Pokemon, if I want to raise them for battling, I always evolve them.
