Welcome to King_Lucario's EV Training Service. As the name suggests, I will be running a shop that specializes in EV training, the dauting task of getting a Pokemon's stats to its maximum. For those who do not know what EV's and EV training is, I will describe it here:
EVs
Spoiler:
EVs (also known as Effort Values or Effort Points) are points that each Pokemon gains and gives whenever a battle is completed. Each Pokemon can gain a maximum of 510 EVs total and only get 255 EVs in one stat. This means, through EV Training, one can maximize two stats and raise one stat by one point. Some people are probably going "If you can give 255 EVs in two stats, why don't you do that?" Because you need 4 EVs to raise a stat by one point. 255 is not divisible by four, neither is 510. This is the reason you put 252 EVs in 2 stats and 6 EVs in another.
EV Training
Spoiler:
EV training is the task of searching for the proper Pokemon which give the proper EVs for a particular stat. For example, if you wanted to EV train in Attack, you would go fight Bibarels because they give 2 EVs in Attack. You would do this until you have accumulated 252 EVs in Attack, then move on to the next stat. There are certain items that aid in EV training.
The Macho Brace doubles the EV gain of a Pokemon, but halves its speed in battle. This means (I will use Rampardos for an example) if my Rampardos battled a Bibarel while it was holding the Macho Brace, it would gain 4 EVs for Attack instead of 2. Pokerus is another thing that aids in EV training. Pokerus also doubles the EV gain for a Pokemon. Suppose my Rampardos battled a Bibarel while it was infected with Pokerus and was holding the Macho Brace. My Rampardos, after one battle with Bibarel, would gain 8 EVs in Attack (x2 Macho Brace + x2 Pokerus = x4 EV gain. 2 Evs x4 Bonus = 8 EV gain)
Also, Vitamins give 10 EVs for a particular stat. Most trainers, in an effort to make EV training quicker, will buy 10 of the respective vitamins for a Pokemon. They feed the vitamins to the Pokemon in order to get two stats with EVs of 100. This would mean tha each stat would now only need 152 EVs to maximize the stats in addition to the 100 EVs added by the vitamins.
EV training is all about math and keeping track of it. But what happens when you lose track of your EVs? Do not worry, fellow trainers. You can reduce a Pokemon's EVs via the use of special berries that raise happiness, but reduce a Pokemon's EVs for a particular stat by 10 EVs. This is useful in case you get a Pokemon wit horrible EVs and want to EV train it. In order to fully reduce a Pokemon's EVs, you will need at least 11 of a specific EV-reducing berry.
|-----|Applying for a job|-----|
You can apply for a job here at the EV training service. There are benefits to working here, such as Employee-Only tournaments, Pokemon Giveaways an much more! However, to apply for a job, you must be adept at EV training and the knowledge behind it. Here is the job application form to fill out and PM to me in order for me to review it:

9. What are two things that will double the EV gain of a Pokemon?
10. What are two berries that will lower the EVs of a Pokemon?
11. What is an Effort Ribbon?
12. Is it possible to manipulate IVs? If so, how?

20. Suppose I had a Rampardos that had 31 IVs in Attack, had an Adamant Nature with the characteristic 'Likes to thrash about' and battled a Bibarel while infected with Pokerus and was holding the Power Anklet. If my Rampardos had 30 EVs in HP already, what are the EVs in each stat after the battle with Bibarel?
|-----|Doing the dirty work|-----|
Here at the Training Service, we will do all of the EV training for you. However, there are certain rules and guidelines that I would like to get across. Here they are:
- Do not beg. If you beg for us to move you up, you will be 'accidentally' skipped.
- Do not give us hacked Pokemon. It is not tolerated by Pokecommunity or the Pokemon world in general.
- Be patient. EV training takes time. It may take us a while to return your Pokemon back to you.
- Stealing is not permitted by us or by you. We will NOT steal your Pokemon because we have no need to. If you would like collateral just in case, you may request so.
- WE WILL NOT BREED! So don't ask.
- We will NOT train a Pokemon to Lv.100. We will simply maximize the EVs and return the Pokemon to you.
- We will not clone.
- Remove ALL EVs on a Pokemon before giving it to us. If you know the EVs, then that is fine; there will be no need to remove the EVs.
- Moveset requests are optional, but at an increased price.
- We will not battle for Pokemon.
- Follow all Pokecommunity rules and guidelines.
- Follow this thread's rules and guidelines.
- WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE RULES AT ANY TIME.
We hope that you find this service a blessing to Pokecommunity and the Pokemon world in general. We hope to be a great benefit to EV training and to encourage it to make people better trainers.
When requesting, please use the following form to make it more convienient for us:
