After reading a few threads Anti made about how great Netbattle is, I decided to try it out for myself. Here's my team, and man does it fail :(

    [PokeCommunity.com] KT's Netbattle Team

    Gyarados @ Leftovers
    Adamant
    252 Att, 188 Spe, 68 HP
    Dragon Dance
    Earthquake
    HP Fly
    Taunt

Leads nicely. Taunts status inducers, and gets a free DD on the switch. HP Fly and Earthquake for coverage.

    "image removed"
    Tyranitar @ Choice Band
    Adamant
    252 Att, 252 Spe, 4 HP
    Focus Punch
    Rock Slide
    Earthquake
    HP Bug

Kills things that would usually cause my team harm. Wish he had a bit more versatility, but meh, Tyranitar gets the job done with it's 600+ Attack stat.

    "image removed"
    Weezing @ Leftovers
    Bold
    252 HP, 252 Def, 4 SpD
    Thunderbolt
    Haze
    Will O Wisp
    Pain Split

Thunderbolt because my team isn't really Gyarados friendly. Will O Wisp lets me cripple sweepers NOT named Heracross. Pain Split to gain HP after losing some from a damaging attack it can tank.

    "image removed"
    Snorlax @ Leftovers
    Adamant
    144 HP, 67 Att, 132 Def, 164 SpD
    Curse
    Rest
    Shadow Ball
    Body Slam

Curselax. In ADV, it's usable. Shadow Ball for hitting things that I can't with Body Slam, and Body Slam is there for STAB.

    "image removed"
    Raikou @ Leftovers
    Timid
    252 SpA, 216 Spe, 40 HP
    Thunderbolt
    HP Grass
    Calm Mind
    Substitute

Absolutely the best CMer in ADV era. After a CM, it can tank almost any sort of Special Attack. Gets walled by Blissey, but meh...

    "image removed"
    Swampert @ Leftovers
    Relaxed
    252 HP, 136 Def, 120 SpA
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Roar
    Earthquake

Swampert works very nicely. Counters things like Tyranitar and such.

Use File ---> Export to Text for a slightly better formating of the pokemon, and it saves time.

Waterfall is special in Advance ._.

    Don't forget Machamp !!!!!!!

k I don't know though, might be slightly unnecessary with Gyarados around, and it does well against fighters.

Shadow Ball will only help you with Gengar and Dusclops pal =p 67 Atk sounds a little rough there.

Ewwwwwwww Modest is not viable. I have a better EV spread somewhere, I'll dig it up and VM it to you eventually.

Just a warning here, but half the metagame carries HP Grass these days for this thing, so be careful with it.

Your biggest problems are with normals IMO. Tauros (who only has 100 base Atk might I add) really rapes this team, as does Slaking and that whole gang of normals. Weezing usually takes ~45% from STAB Returns from Tauros and this likes and can't take their hits well at all (though the really defensive EV spread helps) and Swampert can't take the hits at all and can't do anything back either.

You could go Skarm >>> Weezing, but Magneton is really common and it doesn't really improve this team whole lot.

I would also keep an eye out for Jolly Dugtrio, who beats down a slightly weakened TTar and of course beats Raikou as well.

BTW watch out for Garchomp. SD LO Outrage is a real problem !!!!!!!!!!

On a more seriously note, watch out for Boah. Swampert can't take a whole lot of STAB crunches and it is generally a really big problem for this team.

You also lack good status absorption. IMO that's going to be your biggest problem since normals and Boah aren't really all that common, but man status is going to be a real pain. Aromatherapy Blissey >>> Snorlax would work, especially since Dugtrio can't kill Raikou and Blissey with the same set (due to it either lacking power for Blissey or speed for Raikou).

This looks a lot like my old stall team only with a couple of sweepers over my darling Steelix and Celebi stallers. Noob >:0

Seriously though, it's a good first attempt. I honestly haven't netbattled in ages so my guess is about as good as yours.

Four out of 6 of your Pokemon are hurt by Spikes. I can also see mopcross giving you a lot of trouble if the person knows what they are doing.

    Use this for Curselax:

    Snorlax (F) @ Leftovers ** ...
    Trait: Thick Fat
    EVs: 160 HP / 164 Atk / 64 Def / 120 SDef
    Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
    - Curse
    - Earthquake / Shadowball
    - Rest
    - Return / Body Slam

Though you might want Shadow Ball as nothing on your team likes to take WoW's.

    Use this for RoarPert:

    Swampert (M) @ Leftovers ** ...
    Trait: Torrent
    EVs: 240 HP / 228 Def / 40 SAtk
    Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
    - Earthquake
    - Ice Beam
    - Rest
    - Roar

These are my own personal EVs I use for my best stall team.

    Jynx/Meta/Mence/Maggy/Tar/Celebi weak as well.

Probably some other stuff that needs to be addressed too but I'm too lazy atm.

And yes, I am good at RSE.

Can't Weezing Pain Split after? Or does Pain Split work differently? Will O Wisp will hamper Tauros quite a bit, but I do realize the dangers of normal types.

You could go Skarm >>> Weezing, but Magneton is really common and it doesn't really improve this team whole lot.

But then I lack a fighting resist with instant recovery. Maybe I should go BulkyGyara >>> DDGyara and go DDTar >>> CBTar?

I would also keep an eye out for Jolly Dugtrio, who beats down a slightly weakened TTar and of course beats Raikou as well.

Dugtrio is scary and all, but I haven't had much of a hard time with him in the battles I had.

BTW watch out for Garchomp. SD LO Outrage is a real problem !!!!!!!!!!

NUB, that's why I got teh Swampert >:0

On a more seriously note, watch out for Boah. Swampert can't take a whole lot of STAB crunches and it is generally a really big problem for this team.

Oh yeah! Crunch is special this gen. Would Boah benefit this team?

You also lack good status absorption. IMO that's going to be your biggest problem since normals and Boah aren't really all that common, but man status is going to be a real pain. Aromatherapy Blissey >>> Snorlax would work, especially since Dugtrio can't kill Raikou and Blissey with the same set (due to it either lacking power for Blissey or speed for Raikou).

How about Heal Bell Celebi? Or would Blissey fare much better?

This looks a lot like my old stall team only with a couple of sweepers over my darling Steelix and Celebi stallers. Noob >:0

I love you too Anti <3

Seriously though, it's a good first attempt. I honestly haven't netbattled in ages so my guess is about as good as yours.

The day my guess and your guess are equal is the day Dark_Azelf loses to Marriland.

Four out of 6 of your Pokemon are hurt by Spikes. I can also see mopcross giving you a lot of trouble if the person knows what they are doing.

Doesn't Hera counter Weezing by himself?

    Snorlax (F) @ Leftovers ** ...

    EVs: 160 HP / 164 Atk / 64 Def / 120 SDef

    - Curse
    - Earthquake / Shadowball
    - Rest
    - Return / Body Slam

Though you might want Shadow Ball as nothing on your team likes to take WoW's.

I was going to use Shadow Ball, but thanks for the new set.

    Use this for RoarPert:

    Swampert (M) @ Leftovers ** ...
    Trait: Torrent
    EVs: 240 HP / 228 Def / 40 SAtk
    Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
    - Earthquake
    - Ice Beam
    - Rest
    - Roar

    I'll make the adjustments.

These are my own personal EVs I use for my best stall team.

    Jynx/Meta/Mence/Maggy/Tar/Celebi weak as well.

Probably some other stuff that needs to be addressed too but I'm too lazy atm.

And yes, I am good at RSE.

I can see! Thanks for the advice.

Okay, my team is obviously going to change. Right now, I'm gonna replace Weezing with Skarm, Anti, can I have a set for that, and the Raikou set?

And I'm also replacing Curselax with either Blissey or Celebi, most likely Celebi since my team lacks a true fighting resist (unless I change DDGyara to BulkyGyara and CBTar to DDTar)

Yeah Spikes is going to be a real pain. You also rely on Swampert to counter a lot of stuff and it has no way to heal at all, so you'll eventually get DDmence or DDtar swept. With Spikes in there it's going to spell doom really quick (haha that's what I get for posting a rate at 4 in the morning lol)

As TheMuaveStorm mentioned, this will need more Celebi coverage. It can switch in on most of your team and really drive you crazy.

BTW replacing your special wall for Celebi is a bad idea. It's not a very good fighting resist seeing as almost every fighter has a way to deal with it (usually in the form of HP Ghost or Shadow Ball).

You just need some way to absorb status, since WoW/Thunder Wave/Toxic all really rape this team along with Spikes.

EDIT: BTW I haven't nebattled literally in months, probably like around the time you joined was the last time I played. I've practically unfamiliarized myself with RSE's metagame >_< The other guy will be more helpful to you here >_>

How do I post a RSE thread and get like no replies. Maybe because there was really nothing that needed to be fixed. ._.

After Pert dies Tar is like a shitty rock resist and what makes it worse is that he has no Lefties. Skarm was a good call.

I'd suggest reading Mullet's OU guide (a bit outdated but the OU metagame isn't really that different) and build a new team from scratch. This team is pretty good for your first try but there is a lot wrong with it.

Where is this OU Guide? And thanks for the help you gave me. I'm guessing SkarmBliss is not metagame weak in ADV?

Thank you both, guys. I'll start remaking a team and posting it (keeping the current one here too) and you'll decide which is better)
