Kyogre Or Groudon?

I love Kyogre! Its my favorite ledgendnary pokemon ever! I think it will defeat Groudon and Rayquaza in one hit! Ice Beam! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>|"

kyogre is made to defeat groundon, although it has some attacks to beat kyogre, but rayquaza is way better than kyogre, and in my opinion, he could not take raquaza, because raquaza is an uber on the super scale.

I like Groudon because it's got a cool look to it, not that I'm saying that Kyogre isn't cool looking. I like 'em both, but if it's a pokemon I prefer, be it a Groudon.

Groudon can beat Kyogre anyday of the week provided that Groudon is faster. Groudon's Drought weakens Kyogre's water attacks, but Kyogre's Drizzle does not weaken Groudon's Earthquake. With either Choice Band, Bulk Up, or Swords Dance, an Adamant, max Attack EVed Groudon can kill Kyogre in one hit.

Also, Groudon just looks cooler. A giant red Ankylosaur full of sharp spikes and claws and an angry kick-butt expression.

Rain or shine, a Groudon's Earthquake is something to fear for anything that's not resistant to it.

actually, it may seem to look like a fire type but it is actually a ground type but it can use fire moves.

Groudon can defeat Kyogre by its abilty, drought. with that, it can you use solarbeam instantly and easily destroy Kyogre.

Kyogre. Because Groudon doesn't look tasty, while Kyogre is a fish.
And you can eat fish :D

Apart from that, I just don't like Groudons design. It looks like a shrimp/lobster (see attached image).

All Kyogre needs to do against either of them is one Ice Beam though.

Kyogre is definitely better. Its weather effect powers up its water attacks and it's also a water type. That makes it even stronger. Groudon is only a ground type. I don't think it helps Groudon too much to have sunny weather.

I'ma lways fond of water-Pokemon,and being a legendary,it gains more than my share of repect <3 And,like Naminé pointed out,it's weather poer ups definately add some punch to it's attacks >3

Well I don't really know because kyoger is water and water beats ground but lets say they on the same level and um kyoger can learn lots of water moves and ice and electric and maybe more but groundon can learn solar beam which could..also um give kyoger a whipping

Have you eber battled a Kyogre against a Groudon, It goes something like this:
Kyogre's Drizzle Made it rain!
Kyogre Used Hydro Pump!
Groudon Fainted!

So I vote for Kyogre.

groudon > kyogre for competitive battles...especially with SD/CB groudon being able to quake kyogre on the switch for a OHKO.
I like kyogre better though...

why did someone mentioned solarbeam groudon...=S..? Thats like the worst misconception eva.
