I just found this on ebay:

    [PokeCommunity.com] Lamest Fake

    Green Diamond? Come on...

You mean that bootleged game Telefang or something? It's not even Pokemon.I saw the boxart for it at PokemonElite.com and there was a fakemon on the box.
EDIT:OMG!While I was surfing the web I accidentally went to Ebay and found this:
    [PokeCommunity.com] Lamest Fake
    [PokeCommunity.com] Lamest Fake
    [PokeCommunity.com] Lamest Fake

I thought they stopped doing that. That is an obvious scam. What ever you do if you see something like this don't buy it!
    EDIT2:Now I found another fake!

Yeah, the fake diamond/jade games are fairly well known. If you look it up you can find a ROM of it. (It's not illegal, either, because the game isn't technically a real game on the market). I've played the ROM before. The funny thing is, the actual game looks nothing like the screenshots on the back of that box. Not to mention that those fakemons' names in that one screenshot are "Meowth" and "Sandshrew". wtf. And wow, look at that colored sprite in the middle of a town that's only two different colors!

Anyway, the ROM I played of the fake diamond version was really weird:

    - You played as this dude named Mr. Bek.
    - Instead of catching Pokemon you got their phone numbers from them and called them when you wanted them to battle.
    - You were able to buy things like guns, bombs, and knives and give them to your monsters.
    - The Pokemon weren't called Pokemon, they were 'electric monsters'.
    - The english was very poor, as if it had been babelfished or something. It was pure "all your base are belong to us" through the entire game, and at times I couldn't understand what the hell they were trying to say at all.
    - I couldn't really understand the story very well because of the poor english, but it was something about going to the electric world and saving the antenna trees, or something like that.
    - The color scheme hurt my eyes, and the graphics looked like they were from Zelda or something.
    - You could have one monster follow you around like Pikachu does in yellow. It could be any monster and you could change at any time.
    - You start out with one monster that looks like sandslash.
    - There was a lot of cursing in the game.
    - To heal your monsters, all you had to do was stand in one place for a while and your HP would start increasing.

So, basically, it was just that telefang game thing badly translated into english and made to look like a pokemon game on the outside. But I have to admit, the fakemon on the box looks pretty cool XD

Ooh, I found some screenshots I had taken of the Diamond ROM.

The Diamond version looks pretty believable, except for the fact that its GameBoy Color... >> ...that outta throw people off. I wouldn't believe it... but younger kids who know anything about ROM hacking, and certain game systems would probably go run up to their parents going 'I want it! I want it!' ... >> bah... I downloaded Diamond... it was a hack of some strange game that reminded me of Zelda, with little Pokemon people thrown in, and the story line mentioned 'Pocket Monsters' or something like that.... >> I dont remember it all... but it had my attention for all of 10 minutes x__x

I can't wait for the real Diamond and Perl to come out... I must get a Nintendo DS!! o__o

I wouldn't buy any of those.Although my sister would beg my parents.Even though I'm 10 I'm not dumb.I only buy games that I heard of and if I never heard of it I get information on it.

I've heard of Diamond and Jade. From the screenshots I've seen, it looks like crap. What's funny is that the back of the Diamond box has all of the same words as GSC, but the screenshots looks nothing like what it's describing. If I wanted to do a scam like that, I'd at least try to make it nice looking so people would buy it...

i have never heard of them.... but since nintendo made ruby, sapphire, and emerald, maybe one day FOR REAL, they might make a Pokemon Diamond.

They are, they're making Diamond and Pearl for the DS. People are saying it might be out in Japan next year, but I dunno.

    I still can't believe it still exists.Back in 2001-2003 I wasn't a Pokemon fan(for games, I watched the anime) but I heard about Diamond/Jade a few months ago.And today I saw a copy being sold at Ebay!

Yea, there's a lot of copies of Diamond on Ebay right now. I also saw Jade. There's a weird Stantler-type thing on it. O.o

people on ebay are the stupidist SOB's i have ever heard of. they cheat u out of everything, espescially the X-box 360. i heard they were selling them for 2,000 bucks. there dumb.
