4th Gen Lance!?

well, i tried beating Lance the first time in the elite 4,
but my attacking are missing around 50-60% of the time?!
its so frustrating :P . has anyone else experienced this?
i wanna know if Lance is naturally annoying for everyone.

Hmm, nope. How accurate are your moves? Just remember that really powerful moves usually have a low accuracy. It's always good to have moves like Swift. If that's not it, then I don't know. Maybe you're just really unlucky?

Well i haven't experienced that....but i know that every time his dragonite uses outrage it whipes out everyone...

I haven't fought him yet, but all my pokemon are lvl 60, so I'm not too worried :P

im transfering my pkmn to pearl and EVing them as we speak :P

Well I'm sorry you're having a problem, and we all have boss problems from time to time. You see, I think you were either focusing on a non-balanced team, or you were focusing on moves like Thunder, which are good for certain situations, but not for accuracy. Yes, Thunder = 1 Hit-K.O., but it happens less frequently. If it didn't then it would be unfair if you were battling somebody with the move Thunder. But if you take Thunderpunch on a quick Pokemon, and use it 3 times, then you should be good. It just depends on you overall strategy.If you could post your party and their moveset I could go over into more detail, but until I have that information I can't help any further. I'm sorry you're having a problem, but with champions it is always a perfect combination of Strategy, Timing, and pure Luck. I defeated him with the following team (hoped this helps!)

Again, you just need pure luck. It took me literally around 20 tries to beat Wallace iun Hoenn. It only took me 4 with Lance. Just keep on trying different combinations until you find the best for you!

I finally got to Lance the other day and I had a bunch of revives and hyper potions and I felt well prepared.
I ended up using my ONLY Max Revive at one point, because I felt it was the appropriate time to use it.
I got him down to his last pokemon, which ended up being Aerodactyle..
I get it down in the red as far as I can and I think I've got him beat, and the only Pokemon I've got left without any revives is Ampharos.

"Lance used a Full Restore"

And Aerodactyle kills me..

Yeah, I would say I'm annoyed by Lance right now.

I wish there was an easier way to level up my Pokemon right now besides grueling battles with wild pokemon..

Be careful about Griding Wild's, you can ruin your EV's

I really think the game is rigged, I had my lv 59 gyarados use ice fang on Lances Dragonites and it always leave them with 1 hp. ugh it is really bothersome

and my team isnt that off balance, and i am using pretty accurate moves,
if you have a dragonite with stone edge + outrage/dragon rush u'll thrash him :)

yeah the first 3 times i tried my attacks would always miss- but then none of them missed on my 4th try

you could just battle the elite 4 where you can easily level up. However if you're freaking out over EV's then I don't recommend it. By that I mean, fight the easy ones, and then if you lose to the likes of Bruno or Karen, just keep at it because you're leveling up and getting stronger.
