I have been using the method where you buy 1 super repel and use acro bicke jumping on the same spot. i have had it going on for almost 24 hours. i have also beaten the elite 4 2 times. what is wrong

Well, it takes a great deal of time to finally find the elusive Latios. However, this method you are using is a very good way to find Latios. You aren't really doing anything wrong, it just takes patience, and a lot of work.
