I just bought leaf green and fire red on the internet and should be getting the games soon YAY! :D Can people like tell me what pokemon are in it, what the differences are between the two games and so on :D.
I know they are remakes of the original games and that its just the originals in ruby/sapphire graphics and so i know what pokemon to expect. but i know that a lot of pokemon that they have now were not in the originals for example Pichus and Elekids ... are they in the games?
Also what are the differences between the original games and leaf green and fire red? more islands? more trainers? (more to beat:P :D)
And also what GBA games allow you to play in the Johto region where you can get Cyndaquil and lugia and that?
I apologise for my kind of dumbness to these pokemon games but i played the oringinals then the next pokemon games i played were ruby and sapphire and then Diamond so there are siginificant gaps in my knowledge of the games of pokemon xD and also i apologise for repeating myself ¬¬ but id like to know xD

In Fire Red and Leaf Green you can get the same pokemons as in Blue/ Red. The story is the same and the region is the same. The only difference is seven islands (There is nine but two of the require special tickets from Nintendo events) called the Sevii islands. At the sevii islands you can catch some Johto Pokémon. There is no GBA game that lets you get to Johto. The only way to get the Johto starters is to complete the Hoenn pokedex in Emerald. Lugia and Ho-oh can be caught i Fire Red and Leaf Green but requires a ticket you only can get at a Nintendo event (Or from cheating).

Its basically a redefined red/blue/yellow for GBA, with new moves. And the islands have Johto pokemon, like UBCS said. Though once you get to Island four, you can start breeding pokemon. And beware the elite four, they may be in the 50-60 range the first time, but they reach the 70's your second time around and so on.
And be sure to get a good psychic pokemon for when you have to beat team rocket in Celadon and Saffron city.

sweeet thanks for the heads up :D i cant wait for it xD to have the original pokemon but them redefined its gonna be grrrrreat :D anyone continue to feel free to write anything tht is different from the original games im sure other people who dont have it or are wondering whether itd be worth getting them would appreciate it xD but i think everything has been said anyway lol :D

Technically, all 386 of that time are there, but you can only catch the original 150 until you get to the Sevii Islands, a series of islands that are extra additions to the game. There, you can find some Jhoto Pokemon.

And, there is no game in which you can go to Jhoto except for the old G/S/C.
