Story Basics:
The Original One Created The Universe, 3 Pokemon Were Born From The Original And Created Dimension, Time & Space, 3 Pokemon Born From The Power Maintain The Balance Of This Planet. One Team Intend To Destroy These Pokemon In Their Ultimate Goal Of Reversing What The Pokemon Did. They Want To End The World. With No True Evil Intentions This Group Are Setting Out To Do This In Order To 'Free' All Living Creatures From The Pain Caused In Life. More Information Is Needed To Fully Understand Whats Happening And How They're Planning To Do This. The Journey Of A Lifetime... The Quest Of A Hero... This Is The Legend Of Pokemon...​

I'm Doing This Hack In Stages.
1st I'm Perfecting The Maps Making Sure Everything Looks Nice & Is In Place.
2nd I'll Be Adding New Area's, Houses, People etc (Iv Finnally Learned How To Create Warps & Where They Go :D It Was Simple Really lol)
3rd I'll Be Editing (Slighty) Pokemon Base Stats & Movesets (Legendery Pokemon Will Be Much Stronger With More Powerful Moves)
4th I'll Be Editing The Wild Pokemon In All Areas.
5th I'll Be Editing All Trainer Battles Increasing Difficulty.
6th I'll Be Adding The New Pokemon & Completing Their Movesets, Stats & Graphics.
7th I'll Be Overviewing The Whole Map & See If Anything Will Change.
Finally I'll Be Text Editing The Whole Story & Adding The New Events. Everything Will Be Very Carefully Done.

I'll Be Back Once Ive Made Some Real Progress.
It's Well On The Way Now And Will Probably Return When Ive Completed All Maps I Think.
Ive Learned A Hell Of A Lot And Now Have The Experience To Complete This.

Im Now Hacking Ruby.
Progress so far; Inserted 50+ D/P Pokemon with complete movesets, data & full pokedex data :)
Changed a few maps.
added a cpl of legendary battles.

once all pokemon are inserted ill post the resulting ips patch.
lots more to do but its worth it.

Wtf? how the HECK is Magikarp useless? It's one of my favourite Pokémon and evolves into something that everyone loves and taking the evolution from Gyarados makes this silly and everything. No. >:|

Oh, use YAPE (if it works on Mac) or Poké Edit Pro from Darthatron for changing Pokémon names and stuff.

Also, using evolved Pokémon as starters is a major nono. Use Eevee if you have to.

Also, what's the story? :\

how is magikarp helpful? Lol its patheticly week takes longer to level up. I can't stand the stupid thing. Gyrados will be in it thou. It'll just be rare. Ill have the full story and other bits in a day or so now. Thanks for suggesting that tool also ill check it out :)

i know that i don't know how long exactly thou. I was typing up my story n had a new idea which i found beta that one i had been doin so i gotta plan lil more b4 i write it out. Also all pokemon will be present im not over writin them now. Along with the main story there will be loads of side storys also too keep it fully interesting and suprising. One of the main side storys will involve eevee and its evolutions even leafeon n glaceon loads more aswell. When main story has been done ill post it. Will be at most 2 days :)

Well unfortunatly my laptop has broke im so pissed off bout it cos it wasn't a huge fault in 1st place stupid repair place! The hack will continue when i get new one. By then ill have tons more ideas n be startin it then. This thread can be closed for now ill just open a new one when i get started again.

The basic of the story will focus on the 8 Pokemon that created and maintain everything in the universe and with an evil cult obsessed with ending the world are trying to find a way to kill these legends in order for the universe the collapse on itself thus ending all form of existence. Iv just come up with this very recently and thought it would be a magnificent game if i could pull it off. Everything will have a reason u won't be thinkin ' why would this cult wanna end the world anyway?' it will be clear. Everything will make sense. The 8 pokemon are from diamond n pearl i studied there pokedex entrys n read more bout them. This is what the ultimate story will be however it won't be know at the begining of the game it'll gradually unfold. I need to think alot more bout it to create a master piece. Also included will be Leafeon & Glaceon. I love the eevee's so thats why these are going in. The 8 Legends are: Arceus, Diagla, Giratina, Palkia, Azelf, Uxie & Mesprit.

A little help. The run on sentences are really hard to read, first of all. No offense or anything. Also, you'll want to put your story in your first post. Some people will read your first post, see all that stuff about not knowing what you're doing, and leave without reading anything else.

Anyway, infmaniac, it really does sound like you have a story you want to tell. That's one of the most important things about a hack. If you stay determined, I'm sure this will go a long way.

thanks ill be sticking this out to the end :) im happy with my story and of course thats only the basics of it. However iv tried several times editing my 1st post n when i click save it just bring up same old post. So frustrating. If this message loads up fine them something is wrong with editing 1st post maybe i should open a new thread. Anyway thanks for comments ppl im currently fixing the diamond n pearl tiles n rearranging the citys once thats done the story part can start :D :D

I Have a problem. does anyone know of a UPS Patcher thing to create my patch. the fire red rom im using is 32MB (thought it would be good idea to expand the rom) was gonna post a patch with full graphics change, 35 D/P pokemon, rearranged area's. just a demo of course as the diamond n pearl pokemon are all wild in a cpl of routes to see them working. Any suggestions will do n ill be extremely greatful :)


Never Mind Iv Got One Now lol. The UPS File is just over 16MB!!!! Hope i can upload it. b4 i do gonna make few more ajustments maybe. dunno if i should release one yet. When its time to experience it id rather it be in full..... maybe i will but without any new story... it'll just be good old fire red but very different.... i dunno we'll see Woop Woop!!!!!
