(im not sure if this belongs here but if it doesnt then please move)
i need help analyzing this a little bit more.
Leafeon and Glaceon were introduced in the 4th generation games...and the only way to get them was either trading or just to have an Eevee evolove to them by training it in a certain route or area in the game. correct? (i dont remember the areas or routes..i never played that generation too much)
well i was thinking..since these areas wouldnt exist in anyother game would this mean that if more generations come out the harder it would be to obtain these two without a Action Replay or any other cheats? cuz then you'd be doing this...you would have to play D/P/P get them and then trade them... i understand if u were playing HG/SS cuz it came right after (i kno its a remake) but then what about black and white..cuz ppl will just be playing it right after HG/SS so then theyd have to trade from there to get them again..and it would be the same EXACT Leafeon/Glaceon that they had since D/P/P..and what about another future pokemon beyond black and white? its another hastle just to get the same EXACT leafeon/glaceon...and what if u dont have one then youd have to go back and buy/play (if u have it) D/P/P and get them and then trade...which is even more of a hastle...
now i kno what ur thinking..cuz i kno that not every pokemon makes it into a new generation game..and certain pokemon evolve thru trading anyway. but why would nintendo go as far as making it so that u can only getting a pokemon by playing a specific game, getting it there, and trading it...and if ppl dont decide to trade it wouldnt this mean that they would become rare and hard to trade if u dont have a D/P/P game? becuz some ppl might not trade it to there most recent generation pokemon game..hmmm i think im losing myself now haha.
i just want opinions on why nintendo would do that? were they not thinking long term? and do u think it will get harder to get a Leafeon and Glaceon as time goes by?
