Chapter 4- The Ruins

Eliana?s POV- Somewhere on the way to Celadon
Well, here I am, 3 gym badges. I also have a new pokemon with me- tailow- her nickname is Garuda. So we are all just sitting here, not doing anything, until Amaroq, my Poocheyna, barked.
?What is it Amaroq??
?Look there?s a cave!? Amaroq motioned to a cave not to far from our location.
?Cave!?? Kuro, otherwise known as Trapinch said while jumping up and down.
?Where! I wanna go into a cave!?
I laughed.
?I guess its okay!?
I said.
?Lets go!?

Mia?s POV
?Grrrr?
I grumbled.
I stood outside. There was supposed to be a tour and I?m getting a little impatient. I wasn?t alone. There was a tall girl with yellow hair, and two younger kids who appeared to be siblings. The boy had blue hair and the girl red hair. Oh wait- another girl just walked up. She is also pretty tall with brown hair.
?You look troubled?
Pidgey, one of my pokemon said to me.
I sighed.
?It?s nothing?
I lied. There IS something bothering me. It?s like?.I met these people before somewhere?
?If we are all ready we will start the tour?
A lady wearing a black dress came out of the cave. We all seemed to be ready.
?I?m coming to?
I knew that voice instantly.
?Jenna?
I said grimly.
?Mia what a surprise!?
she said, with apparent hatred in her voice.
?If you would all follow me?
the tour guide turned and walked into the cave. We followed.

Electra?s POV
As we entered the cave, I watched the girls who were fighting earlier. I?ve seen them around the area I used to live but didn?t really talk to them. My thoughts cleared as the tour guide began.
?The ruins here tell a legend- or a prophecy about a legendary pokemon? I looked around. The walls depicted letters which I couldn?t understand, and there was a lot of broken statues as well.
?Long ago? She continued.
?The Guardian Of The Sea- otherwise known as Lugia- guarded an important artifact- The Crystal Of The Sea- a crystal that held powers which only Lugia can posses.
?the legend says, if Lugia is about to be killed, it will transfer the crystal- physically and spiritually- into another who?s fate is to hold it?
The girl with the red hair snorted.
?We don?t know where the Crystal is now? she concluded.
?But hopefully it is still in Lugia?s possession. Feel free to look around?
I looked around the ruins for a while, and slowly everyone cleared out.
Out of the Ruins, Eliana?s POV

?That was so cool!?
I exclaimed to Julie. Julie blinked.
"You must really like Lugia huh??
I nodded.
?Uh- Eliana- look?
Julie pointed. That red headed girl was headed our way.
?You? she said.
?Your on. 4 each. Lets go?
I looked hesitantly at Julie. Could we do it?
?Your on!? I called.
?Go Garuda!? My Tailow came out.
?Go Spearow!? The vicious bird pokemon appeared.
?Garuda Peck!? I called
?Peck it back!? The red haired girl ordered.
Then, the birds were pecking at each other without end. I had an idea
?Garuda! Peck it from behind!? he nodded a flew behind the Spearow. Unfortunately the Spearow was ready.
?Row!? It screeched as it pecked Garuda. With a thud he fell to the ground.
?Garuda return!? I cried. He tried his best. She also returned her pokemon.
?Amaroq go!? Amaroq came out.
?Scyther!? The bug pokemon with scythes towered over Amaroq. We could do this. Although Scyther DID have an advantage. Scyther was faster. But I had a plan.
?Scyther quick attack!?
?Amaroq Sand Attack!?
Just as Scyther was about to attack, Amaroq sent a spray of sand at Scyther.
?Now Amaroq bite Scyther!?
He jumped on the Scyther and began biting it.
?Amaroq try biting Scthers scythes! Just don?t hurt yourself!?
Fortuantely, Amaroq somehow bit Scyther on one of his scythes. My plan worked. It fainted! I had a theory that Scythers scythes would be its sensitive spot!
?Way to go Amaroq return!? I called.
We were halfway left.
?Okay Kuro go!?
?Go Charmander!?
A starter pokemon. This girl must have gotten a pokemon from Prof. Oak.
?Charmander ember!?
?Kuro sand attack!?
The fire went right through the sand, and hit Kuro.
?Pinch!? she cried in pain.
?Kuro Faint attack!?
Kuro had no time to attack. Charmander rammed right into Kuro. Kuro fell.
?Kuro return!? I gritted my teeth as the girl returned her Charmander. We each had one left. I looked at Julie. She nodded. She stepped out to battle.
?Go Gyarados!?
I gaped at the dragon in front of us. This was gonna be REALLY tough.
?Gyarados, bite!?
The great snake lunged toward Julie. Luckily enough for both of us, she managed to dodge the snakes huge fangs.
?Julie mudlsap!?
Julie sprayed very dirty water at Gyarados. I winced. No damage. At all.
?Awww crud? I muttered.
?Gyarados, Finish it off! Dragon Rage!?
It happened so fast. The light, and the impact.
?JULIE!? I cried. The light slowly faded. She lay there. But she was still there. She didn?t appear to be fainted. Then the light came back?. It was engulfing Julie! I was in awe?. With the lights disappearance, so was Totodiles. Totodile no longer existed. Croconaw was born.
?J-julie?? I asked.
She nodded. I grinned.
?Lets do this!? I cried.
?Julie! Slash!?
I watched as she jumped, and slashed the Gyarados right across the face. It must have been a critical hit because it fainted. The girl looked disgusted.
?Y-y-ou got lucky!? she snarled, and ran away.
?Julie I cant believe it?? I muttered.
She walked over.
?I couldn?t let you LOSE now could I?? she winked.
?Thanks Julie?
Mia?s POV
I watched the whole battle. I smiled. This girl wouldn?t fail. She had the potential.
Eliana: O_O oh my god?.that is the longest chapter I ever wrote!
Lugia: Is it because perfect isn?t good?
Eliana: would you shutup!
Lugia: HEHE
Eliana: okay now I might need time to write the next chappy! See ya then!
