The reason you can't bump is because the last post is always yours so they are automatically merged. If you just posted this in the quick trade like you are meant to you would find you will get an offer much quicker.

It actually can be. On most forums you can delete all trace of your posts and lock your own threads. You can't here so it is understandable. Glad to help orgo.
