Oh, the dark, the monsters, the death of loved ones
The screams, the cowardice, the most hated fears
The fear makes us frightened, brings us to tears
As if we have been attacked by Huns
We hide at a spot like a classroom dunce
We shiver when we hear loud monstrous jeers
Crying, for there are no more happy cheers
So we go to church to pray like nuns.
Under God's shelter we are safe and sound
Misery and sorrow are now no more
Under his power which knows no bound
The powers of Satan crushed to ground
Trust the Lord and you will see no more gore
Peace and justice can now always be found.
