Um, so I thought it would be fun to make one of these threads, since I always love meeting other members but I have also been very scared of leaving the rom hacking section.

My name is Lucas, which means light, which is also the name of my pokemon hack I am working on. I have always have had a love for pokemon, rpgs, light imagery, and religion. For myself personally I love to visit many different churches and see how one area that has the same religion interprets said regligion so differently than its counterpart.

Another controversial topic that I enjoy is politics, however I tend to be in the minority on forums such as these which are intended for younger audiences, that said I am a staunch conservative, and it makes for interesting debate at school and work.

I am currently a student at Rutgers University in New Jersey, where I am double majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science, and a minor in philosophy.

After I get my degree I would love to teach mathematics(Manly Calculus) while doing some free-lance programming

I also have a girlfriend who I have been dating for the past 2 years, she is so much fun to be with, plus she surprises me with video games xD (Latest one was Pikman 3, but I think that was more of an excuse for her to play(B/c She dosen't have a wii u))

One of my biggest struggles has always been my dyslexia, the way I read and type is consequently different than most people. Most people read using syllables, while I myself on the other hand have to learn each word on a 1 to 1 basis, this took years of self teaching/reading to catch up with my peers. I have also always been bad with spelling and grammar, which is upsetting since a lot of times that Is how your intellectual ability is judged, maybe that is why I love math so much
