Let's see... LA.ca has been around for 2 years now and it focuses on Ah! Megami-sama (Oh! My Goddess), Cardcaptor Sakura, (sort of...) Pokemon, and Yuugiou: Duel Monsters. ^_^ I'm currently trying to get the rest of the screenshots I currently have from YGO and the lyrics to the CDs up.
Let's see... I am actually in need of help. I need news updaters who can collect anime news and post it on the site. You can get news from any anime. It doesn't necessarily have to be covered on the website. (ie: You can post up information about upcoming Dragonball Z events even though I don't have any DBZ info.) It can also be from any country since I'm basically only in tune with Canada's anime flow. X_x;
Requirements:
1. MUST have good grammar. This means you must use full sentences, proper punctuation, and no shortened forms of words like using "u" instead of "you". I just find it harder to read things that way and I would like my visitors to be able to read things with relative ease.
2. Must post at least once every 2 weeks. I know most sites say once a week, but I know I can't be the only lazy person on the 'net. XD You can't post random things just to keep yourself on the staff since that's just like spamming on message boards. -_-;;
3. Give me a sample of some news you might send in. Type it exactly as you would if you had the job since then I get a better idea of whether or not you would be a good candidate.
I think that's it. ^_^; Anyway, if you get the job, I can also give you a you@lightninganime.ca redirect e-mail address. Meaning people can send it to that address and it'll be redirected to your original e-mail.
If you don't want to be staff, please give any suggestions or comments you can. I'm always willing to try new things. :)
