2nd Gen Link cable battle - different languages?

    Hi!

    With a few friends we deicide to buy some S/G cartridges to battle!

    The thing is, we would have different language versions, like FR and US.

    Apparently trading is no problem (at least with non-JAP versions), but I can't find the answer about battles.

    Should we all buy english versions??

    As long as none of you have a Korean or Japanese game, EU Pokemon games should have no problem battling and trading US games.
