can anyone give me some info on the gota catch 'em all gameboy color games in gba verions like pokemon yellow for gba instead of color. I really dont know anything about them but they seem interesting, can anyone tell me some things about these games? are the good? do the work like normal? anything you know would be appreciated thanks

Recently posted this in a previous post sorry for reposting this but i need a little more info i purchased some of these on ebay "prob not the best idea" $31 for silver, gold, green, blue, yellow for gba ide post a link but im not aloud to with the little amount of posts i have, but i need some facts how bad compared to the actual versions could the bootlegs be? as long as they work like the orginals keep my save and play through it should be fine i just need to know what im in for.

Those games were not made for the GBA. RBYG were for GameBoy while GSC were for GameBoy Color. So if you bought them and they're GBA versions, they are bootlegs. They're fake and you got totally ripped off, and you should complain to eBay about it and report it...whatever it is they do there. This is why I don't buy games from there. Totally unreliable. If you haven't bought them, don't do it. Find someone selling the real games with good feedback, preferably 100% and make sure you can see pictures of the cartridge. And to be honest, you're better off checking out a game shop near you for these games. Online buying is just...not safe for these, and most game stores will only take working legitimate games when someone sells them to a shop. So yeah. I can't help you past that point, I'm afraid. If you have more questions, ask them in the appropriate Q&A thread...but then again, when you're asking about GB(C) games that are bootlegs on GBA, what IS appropriate? lol I guess either or really...I'll shut up now.
