5th Gen Location of the Isshu Region

    Below is a map I got from Bulbapedia that shows where the main pokemon regions are based in:

    There is not much space left in Japan for them to make another region here, and we have not even counted the orange islands, battle towers, battle frontiers, pokemon ranger regions and shadow pokemon game regions.

    I theorize that the Isshu region will be based off of the coast of America. A city with a lot of technological advancement could be New York or California. There are some rural towns too, which could take place in southern parts of America.

    Where do you think the Isshu region is in relation to the real world?
     
    I think America could happen. Or, ya know, China?
     
    I'm hoping for California cause we have a great diversity in landscape.It also can't be the area above Kanto cause the new reigon is far away from everything else.

    The Isshu region would possibly be in relation of China, seeing as how Black and White have a relation to yin and yang.

    Interesting prediction, I think it will be japan. Once they fill Japan mabey then will see some other countries. I would like to see one based on Pennslyvania, USA. I think that be cool.
     
    I think places like Italy or India would be pretty cool, because they are places where rural villages meet urban cities.
     
    The thing I keep thinking is that does Isshu really have to be based on some physical place that is already on Earth? Maybe since Game Freak is introducing so many things in to this generation and taking the second step, maybe they could be totally creating Isshu from what they want Isshu to be, not necessarily having it based on a landform that pre-exists. Weird thought, but something that just randomly came to me. Idek. :]
