I was broswing the anime section and went to post a reply to the following thread:

    https://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=154879

However, I cliked "New Reply", it came up with the message "Access Denied, you are not logged in etc". So, I logged in using the sheet it provided below the message and clicked log-in and I was taken to a new page thanking me for logging in, which automatically redirected me to a page saying "Access Denied, you are not logged in etc" and the log-in sheet below. I went through this several times before I was finally proerly logged-in and able to post.

I don't have any problems logging-in usually, the worst I've had has been when I've went offline and came back on and had to log-in again (I don't usually have to unless I clear my cookies and stuff), but that's nothing out of the ordinary.

Does anyone have any ideas on what that was or how to stop it from happening again?

    Thankies in advance *cookies*

Hope I did this correctly :)

You can try ticking the Remember Me box before you log in. That always fixes the problem. :D

Try clearing your cookies if the Remember Me box is too risky.

That happened to me once, and clicking the remember me box doesn't work when that happens. If that happens again, then you could either try a different computer, or wait a few days before you try logging in again.

I reckon it was just a 1 off thing. If it happens again try the remember me box, clear your cookies and then it should work.

You seem to be having no problems logging back on and continuing to post as normal. If it happens again though, you might want to clear the cookies.

In my opinion, having to fill out a log-in sheet and then being redirected to another page that says I'm not logged-in and then filling out another log-in sheet and then being redirected to yet another page that says I'm not logged-in and this process continuing several times before I actually do get logged-in constitutes as a problem logging back on, thank you.

Definitely not a one-off thing ~ it just happened again on my RPG (Only A Dream), I had just finished a very long response and click on the "Submit Reply" button and it took me to the "Access Denied" page and it all happened again. After going through the process I detailed in my first post on this thread, I finally got logged back on to find that I have to redo the entire post. Needless to say I am not a happy bunny.

Regardless, even if it is just happening on the odd occasion, it's better that I bring up rather than not because it could turn out to be a lot more serious than it seems now. Better safe than sorry and all that, you know?

I always check the "Remember Me" box and I clear my cookies on a daily basis and it's happened again so I highly doubt it is either of those two issues. I had a totally unrelated problem on another forum that was fixed by me using Firefox to access the forums and so I will apply that here and see how it goes, but, in saying that, stuff like this really shouldn't be happening at all and I haven't found any explanations or causes for the problem as of yet.

Any further help, advice and suggestions are all more than welcome.

    Thank you *cookies*
