No, it's alright, you can just give me any throwaway pokemon. I've got several extras.
 
ok cool i just got wi-fi today so i dont know much bout it so what do i do to trade?
 
You have to register me in you pal pad (my friend code is in my sig). This part is pretty straight forward. Then go downstairs in a Pokemon Center and talk to one of the people that are on either side of the door. They will ask if you wanna connect to wifi so say yes. Once you connect you'll see some options about trading and battling and such.
