    I have a rom hack idea. So, I have tried my hand at hacking! I learned... my computer is not strong enough for it. So, I'm looking for other hackers to make my dream come true. I have posted a thread in the Beginner's Lounge but I'm not sure how many people go there. I haven't received a lot of feedback. So, that's enough rambling on! Here it goes.

    Tournaments!
    So, take the Pokemon League from the anime. But, put that in every city in place of a Gym. Earn trophies and medals in place of badges. Have there be pokemon requirements for each tourney.

    Story:
    I want this to be less about the story and a little more realistic. To me it seems in near every game it's about saving the world. I don't want that. I'd prefer to have something like a Jessie and James duo who just pick and gang up on you. Make them stronger and have them enter tournaments with you. I want there to be the possibility of losing. It seems in most games you're always the winner.

    But, it just so happens, it's your dream to win the grand championship and become one of the best!

    Now, for the tournament mechanics. I would prefer the AshGray pokemon league style. You get to heal and learn about your opponent in between matches. Again, I feel like it's more realistic.


    The Search

    I'm looking for a team leader. Someone with all around knowledge. I don't expect he/she to have tons of experience but just someone to lead.

    Anyone with small specialties would be great too!

    And so, I end. To anyone who replies I thank. I would also love any feedback on the idea in general. I also understood this idea isn't fully developed yet so any ideas are also welcome.
     
    Im not sure how come your computer cant handle ROM Hacking, worst case scenario, it takes 5 seconds to load a map in Advance Map
    Your idea is good, but all you give us is a feature, rather than the story
    If you wanna put a Team together, try The Team Room, it's why it exists, but still, I dont think your computer can handle ROM Hacking, I think you're just being lazy :P

    lol It's some of both. Well, it's more my internet than my computer. And the reason why I didn't use the team room is because I don't have any actual part of it done just the thought. And well, I don't really want it to be about the story. I'd much rather prefer to use all of the fancy wording later. And once again there are many more ideas to make a stoty that haven't been thought of yet.
     
    If you want people to help you with a project, either post in the Help Recruitment thread in the Team Room section, or create a thread there, but make sure to follow the requirements. This section is mainly for discussions. Thread closed.
