Looking for pokemon

    Ive got a fews hinies and a Deaoxys (100). The porblem is, I dont know how to look up mew, darkrai or any pokemon I have not yet seen. could someone tell me how I can get "mew" and "darkrai" or any other legendairy pokemon into the ones I can ask for?

    You can just trade for it here you know...
     
    Just offer for one, then trade for it, and boom, you have it in your pokedex.

    or make a deal with a friend and trade, then trade back.
     
    You can just ask for it, and if what they want is fair, you will exchange friend codes and trade. Hope this helped.
     
    ok thank s that will work. but what i meant was i cant put an a pokemon up on GTS and ask for mew as I dont have mew in my work detabank.

    But why GTS? It's easier to trade here.
     
    Blah, lol, let's clear this up. The Wireless Trade Corner (the sub-forum you're now posting in) is meant for actual trading, using Wi-Fi and Friend Codes.

    Your question about the GTS technically should be put in the actual D/P forum. As far as your question goes, to seek Pokémon on the GTS, you need to have seen them at least once so they are in your Pokédex. So you'll need to register the Pokémon in your Pokédex (probably by trading with someone else) before you can look for them on the GTS.
     
    ok thanks for clearing that up.I just have one question. How do i find my friend code?

    Gosh, thanks! I hope that you're not confused anymore.
     
    You can check it in your Pal Pad key item. To trade, you will need to give your Friend Code to someone, as well as register his/her friend code in your Pal Pad. Then head to the bottom floor of the Pokémon Center to connect to the WFC, where you can trade, battle, and voice chat with people who you have registered friend codes with.
