    Hello,

I'm just looking for suggestions of what people use for sprite editors/creators. What I want to be able to do is make sprites from scratch and edit sprites. I will mainly be trying to use HG/SS overworlds.

Can people please list what programs they use and what they think is the easiest method to create/edit sprites.

    Thanks for your help

Ding! Graphics Gale is what I use. I have for years and I -love- it. I definitely highly recommend it, especially if your alternative is MSPaint.

One great feature about GG is that you can set up grids for guidelines or snapping points, that way you can layout where each frame of the image is in the editor itself, and you don't have to keep counting out 24x pixels each way, etc. It makes spriting and positioning charsets and such super quick.

GG is free to download, just give it a quick google~
