Looks can be deceiving!

The Pokémon anime has had its share of characters, many of which fans perceive as "cute" or "adorable". However, despite their apparent cuteness, some of these characters have caused trouble for others, including Ash and his friends.

What characters from the Pokémon anime, including the movies, that are considered to be villains/antagonists, do you believe are cute anyway?

The Teddiursa in UnBEARable comes to mind for a topic like this. When Misty first saw it, she thought it was so adorable and innocent, until she, along with Ash and Brock, found out it was stealing other people's food, including farmers' crops, and Teddiursa was eventually caught eating the food out of Brock's backpack.

Another character that qualifies for this discussion is Molly Hale. Despite looking so adorable and charming, even in her two dreamed-up older forms, she did cause a lot of havoc in Greenfield with the Unown.

I agree that Molly is adorable and she's one of the reasons why Spell of the Unown is one of my favourite movies.

I also like the Teddiursa from UnBEARable, except for when it makes Chikorita cry.

I think James can be adorable sometimes, especially when he submits to Jessie's bossiness.

I like that Togepi from Where No Togepi Has Gone Before. I don't find its evil face creepy at all. It kinda reminds me of the UnBEARable Teddiursa.
