Prologue
This battle is heating up! Each trainer has one Pokémon left! Will Crystal manage to defend her title of a Champion?
The announcer yelled loudly and with sheer excitement through the microphone as both trainers on the stadium reacted on his words and each others commands. The battle was hardly visible anymore with all the dust picking up, creating a weak sandstorm. On the left side of the stadium stood a rather elegant, eager sixteen year old girl with all her courage brought up at once. She was defending her title of a Champion, being challenged by a rather professional Pokémon trainer who managed to make his way through the Elite Four with ease.
"Meganium, it's time for a Solarbeam!" She fiercely straightened up her hand pointing sharply towards the front where her opponent stood. The rather large quadruple creature growled loudly, unable to intimidate the opponent who was twice of her own size. Stomping at the ground at first, the grass dinosaur kept absorbing the particles of sunlight into her pinkish flower. Crystal grinned as the overgrown flower around Meganium's neck enlarged with each second until unleashing a purifying blast of sun energy in shape of a beam.
Whoa! Crystal managed to use the sun in her own advantage!
As the girl cheered for being able to attack first, the camera shifted towards the right side of the arena showing off a teenage boy dressed in black shorts and red and black jacket. The boy pulled his cap from the backside once again before reacting to Crystal's command. He was eager to win this battle as he wasn't going to give up easily.
"Not this time! Steelix, protect yourself!" The boy yelled as the giant steel snake in front of him covered itself in a strange green-lighted field. The solarbeam Meganium fired out collided with the energy shield resulting in a big amount of energy radiating out of the both attacks. Thus, Steelix remained unharmed before slamming his opponent with a wicked iron tail from behind.
"No, Meganium!" The Champion reacted as the iron hit from the foe left Meganium flying and eventually crashing onto solid ground. The boy smirked ordering his Pokémon to attack once again with regained confidence. He thought he finally got the advantage over his opponent.
"Keep it up! Steelix, show them your Dragonbreath!"
Amazing, ladies and gentlemen! This battle is simply full of surprises! Ethan managed to backfire with Iron Tail giving him a chance to end this battle. Is this the end for Crystal?
Feeling uneasy after hearing upon the announcer's words, Crystal clenched her fists in fear as she looked coldly towards the cabin which was set several foot above the stadium. She shook her head and looked fiercely at the restless body of her oldest companion. A huge dilemma was going on inside of her at the time. Was she really going to do it? Eventually, her ambition and eagerness overtook the rest of her emotions as she settled to do it for one last time.
"Just this time, we can't afford to lose! Activate Overgrow!"
To everyone's surprise, Meganium opened her eyes out of the sudden, followed by a huge outbreak of emerald green light. The bursting light made Steelix flinch as the announcer and the crowd gazed in surprise. Meganium stood up on all of her fours growling louder than she ever did before. Her smooth pale green skin was now glowing in several tones of green with her jungle flower covered in rainbow glow.
"It's time to finish this! Seed Bomb!"
Enveloped in a cloak-like energy aura, Meganium started firing out rather powerful blasts of energy injuring Steelix badly. The frightening attack made Steelix retreat, but Meganium slowly ran toward the steel creature with her blasts getting tougher and tougher with each blow!
"Final blow, use Seed Bomb and then finish it up with an Energy Ball!"
It was like she knew she was going to win this one. She was shouting out her orders with Meganium blindly following her every command, as Ethan tried to switch to defense once again.
"Try Protect once again!" He cried out in fright of losing.
"You can't trick me twice!" As she remarked, Meganium left out final seed bomb which caused an enormous explosion, an explosion of such force which made Steelix bounce of the ground for a little while eventually making it crash onto the stadium wall. The crowd ran away in terror while the crash managed destroyed almost an entire block of the stone wall.
Enraged, Meganium fiercely released her sharp vines grabbing the enormous snake managing to hold it in the air. Injured and exhausted, Steelix tried moving; twitching itself, but the pain was too large to handle. No one was unable to notice that, but the vines of Meganium started slowly to crack through the steel of Pokémon enlarging the previous pain. Meganium grinned before unleashing her final blast – a sphere like attack composed of nothing but pure grass energy. The emerald shining sphere enlarged itself upon injection from Meganium's mouth, and the only thing left was the crowd and the trainer Ethan who watched Steelix faint in pain and misery.
"Steelix can't fight anymore. The winner of this battle is Crystal and her Meganium!" The judge announced the outcome as he lifted up the silver flag with his right hand. The stadium went silent for a moment, as an outrageous roar of cheeriness overwhelmed the whole area in few seconds later.
Ethan rushed towards his Steelix with worry noticing that the poor Pokémon was completely injured and worn out retreating it into his poke ball.
Astonishing, what a marvelous battle! For the tenth time in the row, Crystal managed to keep her honorable title. What else are we going to see from this supergirl?
Crystal walked towards her Meganium, gently kissing her on the cheek and hugging her, complimenting on the job well done. She wanted to congratulate her opponent as well, but she found out that the boy had already run out of the stadium with his Pokémon. Dazzled and somewhat confused, she looked at the crowd who were celebrating her success and the enjoyment they had while watching. She was getting what she always wished for, attention and fame. One final time with her arms gently wrapped around Meganium's long neck, they both took a bow to the crowd as a thanks to them for supporting her.
She felt truly happy.

Meanwhile, back in Newbark town...
Meanwhile, back in Newbark town...
"She won! She won! Oh my God, she did it again! My baby won!" Cheeriness and celebration could be heard from the home of Newbark family in the exact-named town. Embracing her husband and her niece with joy, the older middle aged woman jumped happily before sitting back on the sofa in front of the TV.
"Lyra, come down here! Your sister –" Before she could finish, a young girl walked from upstairs in a rather indifferent mood. The girl was about an age of thirteen, dressed tomboyish with small pigtails leaning out of her big white cap. Following her step by step, a tiny blue mouse walked behind her tiny legs. Marill was always scared of Lyra's mother, especially when she would get so enthusiastic, it would frighten him to death.
"Honey, she won again! Your big sister won again!" She walked towards Lyra with clearly enthusiastic face expression. Lyra's mood slightly shifted as she replied with indifference.
"I know she did. She always does." Marill looked up at his trainer. Lyra was looking at the floor again so he could clearly notice, she had that face again.
Her daughter's neutral stand surprised her mother who was clearly annoyed by Lyra's attitude. "Can't you be at least little happy for your sister? At least one of our children is successful." Lyra's father was saddened hearing that, since he exactly knew to whom his wife had referred to.
You see, Lyra was supposed to embark on her journey when she was ten years old, but being too emotionally attached to her hometown she declined to leave disappointing her mother greatly. Her father William never had any problems against Lyra's decision unlike her mother Gina, who kept pressuring Lyra into leaving in order to become successful since she never could. But ever since Crystal became the Champion, Gina kept ignoring Lyra as well as attacking her every time she would be pissed at her big sister's success.
Her mother's stressful words again caused bitter sadness inside of her heart as well as small trace of fury. She slammed the door after running out of the house with Marill on her side.
_____
Her hometown would always cheer her up.
Spreading her arms, she felt the fresh breeze or so-called the northern wind, engulf her average body refreshing her entirely feeling how it could as well as remove any trace of anger or sadness she felt at the time.
"Rill! Marill!" Her little companion growled upon jumping into her arms. Trying to cheer her up, Marill cuddled his cheeks against her chin tickling Lyra, making her giggle. She was always happy to have her little buddy by her side. At her eleventh birthday since she didn't leave for the journey, her father gifted her with an egg which Lyra accepted with eager. She knew it would be her first Pokémon and indeed, the egg eventually hatched into a young Azurill who become her loyal partner. But how it evolved into Marill, is a completely different story.
The sound of branches swaying in the wind, the happy voices of the nearby Pokémon, it all made her home. Her home was her utopia which she never intended to leave, but her decision slowly started to change much to her dismay. Suddenly, like a bolt striking out blue sky, her mother's words flashed into her mind.
"Can't you be at least little happy for you sister? At least one of our children is successful."
Anger, yet strange kind of confidence kept emerging inside of her. She took a wide look at the surroundings, yet again hearing her mother's voice in her mind. She looked at her Marill smiling with softness.
"One day, we will leave this place as well. We will go far away leaving everything behind. One day…"

And? Was this any good? I'd really want to hear someone's opinion regarding my battle descriptions because my English language is poor in contrary to other writers.
