Hello there! I'm just wondering what you would like for your

    Glameow Lvl.1
    UT and Female
    Nicknamed: Jade
    Calm Nature

If you would be interested in trading; since I do not have a trade thread
, feel free to PM and if there is something that you would like, you never know I may just have it lol. xD My WiFi hasn't exactly been wonderful but i'm hoping it'll be nice and work for me if you wish to trade your Glameow for something ^^

MidnightLuna, I realize you are not familiar with how to use an IV calculator, so hopefully the following will help you...

Trying to calculate IVs at L1 is almost completely worthless. You provided the 'average' IV values, but those values are a representation of a huge range of possible IVs.

The IVs averaged out to 15 at L1 really mean 0-31, which tells you the IV calculator has no clue what the actual IV is, since all possible IVs are represented in that one value. Take a look at the results again. Notice how big the ranges of possible values are for your L1 Pokemon.

The higher you go in level, the wider the range of possible stats becomes, and the resolution of the IV calculator improves. At L100 the IV calculator is able to find the exact IVs, since a Pokemon with an IV of 0 will have 31 less stat points than one with a perfect IV of 31.

So, for untrained Pokemon, the higher the level, the better results the IV calculator will give you. Unless you know the exact IVs, report the RANGE of possible values.

If a Pokemon is trained (You have leveled it up via battling), then the only way to calculate the correct IVs in a calculator is to provide it with the Effort Points the Pokemon has gained. Otherwise, your IVs will be skewed. They will appear higher than they actually are since the Pokemon may have been accumulating extra stat points due to Effort Points being gained that you have not accounted for. If you don't know the EVs of a given Pokemon, you can use berries to erase the Effort Points. If you don't know about these, I can explain in a follow on.

For example, if you obtained your shiny Houndoom as a Houndour, and leveled it up via battle to evolve, your IV calculator results are probably wrong if you did not input the Effort Points it has gained.

I bring this up because I'd hate to see someone being misled by improper use of IV calculators. You have to have a basic understanding of what the calculator is doing before you just cram numbers into it. I have seen people that put trained Pokemon's stats in the calculator without the EV points and report those numbers as 'IVs'. You may not be dishonest on purpose, but it is just good practice to know what you are doing.

To get a better idea of a Pokemon's IVs you can either a) use rare candies to level it up to a higher level and input your level by level data into metalkid's IV Calculator (You can use other calcs like Serebii, but this allows you to get a reasonably good representation as low as L5-10) or b) have an IV battle to get the exact IVs.
