AN: I don't think I that good on this, but I am posting it none the less. I didn't spend much time on it, mostly because the more I looked at something, the more I hated it. The more I hated it, the more I changed it. The more I changed it, the worse it became.
Yes, this is a "one-shot" or short story.
Anyways, without further adieu, I hope that you get some satisfaction from this.

I felt the grip loosen on me. The wind blew ever so fiercely. I knew that my escape was imminent, any moment now, I would be free and bounding away. My captor was distracted and so I seized the moment and broke away from him. As I floated away, I heard my captor let out a few cries. I didn't care.. The cries grew louder, but as such in the same way, the distance grew greater. Eventually, I found them to die away on the wind.
It wasn't until a safe distance away that I was met with the realization that I didn't know who I was. What was my name? I think, that when I was in captivity, I heard someone call me a "Baoon"1 or something like that once. Looking back to area behind me, the people are but specks in my line of vision. I waved goodbye to the sand and waves beneath me.
From behind me, a powerful wind buffeted me along. It was intense, and there was no way that I can fight it. Trying only created a vastly uncomfortable, gut-wrenching tension.2 With a sigh, I gave in. The clouds were just below me now, blocking my vision off what was under me. It was disappointment, the beach was beautiful, and I'm sure that whatever was under me would be too.
When the wind had let up some, I sunk3 a few meters below the cloud blank. I could now see the ground below me. It was an endless expanse of tall plants4. Behind me, I could make the rough outline of something tall and pointy 5, maybe I was lucky that I was above the clouds, because I didn't want to run into those. The wind dragged me along.
Over what seemed like an eternity and I passed through many places. On the far edge of the land that I was on now, there was a beautiful, green lady. But I don't think that she liked me, because I nearly forked my self on her torch. After I passed her, I came upon more waves. Unlike where I first started, these were more ferocious and some nearly caught me, luckily, I caught an updraft at the right moment.
When I reached land again6 I found a funny little structure that had problems standing up straight! This new land was far more diverse than the one that I had just come from. I floated around seeing all sorts of wondrous things. In one particular dry, sandy placed, I found more of the pointy things, but they were more refined. It was weird.
Surprisingly, I came again to water this passage, however, was not extremely long. I soon came upon an island. There were extremely tall buildings, and I had to be extremely careful as to not burst on them. As I left the place, it was extremely dark, yet, the city glowed ever so eerily with the hustle and bustle of life.
Not all too surprising I was met with water yet again. This time, I saw more specks in it. There where what seemed to be houses7 on this water. That was the only exciting part of the water. I was glad to see land once more. I met two kinds of people here. One group called everyone "mate" and yet again lived in houses8. I believe that these were the humans.
Irritatingly now, I came upon water for what I hoped was the final time. There was absolutely nothing exciting in here. When I came to this land, I was low flying. I found giant heads on the ground! 9 The wind had once again tormented and carried me above the clouds, I could see nothing. When I came down I found my self in some more of the "mountains" they were rigid and seemed to have no end. Below me, however, I saw the remains of some or another.
Out of energy I crept along and soon came back to the start of this magnificent journey. My captor was not there. I felt kind of saddened at the fact. He was what brought me into the world, and I had wanted to explain to him what I saw. Glumly, I plummeted to the ground, my lead dragging on the ground. As I exited the beach, I met my fate on a tree branch. You came along, however, and fixed me up. I don't work like new anymore though, and I can barely stay off the ground. The only thing that I think I could think to repay you was tell you of my magnificent tale.

1Whatever the heck a "Baoon" is, I have no idea.
2Okay. Maybe "gut-wrenching" wasn't the best way to describe it. Maybe flattening is more like it.
3Mind you, this took a while.
4 I believe that they were what you humans referred to as trees.
5 Mountains, you called these.
6Or, at least, realized that I had.
7Yeah! Houses! And I here I was thinking they only existed on land.
8The other group hopped around and carried their babies in pouches, only making weird noises.
9What happened to the bodies, I've no idea.

So yeah. comment away, be harsh.
