Effect: Basically a replacement for the Bike.
Register time: Mid-game, if that's what you mean by register time.
Pokemon used: Arcanine

Effect: Allows you to break rocks and push boulders, whilst riding it.
Register time: Around the 6th gym leader.
Pokemon used: Lairon

I don't know, riding one seems endearing to me.

Salamance
A ride Pokémon similar to Tauros, used to gain very high speed over land. Can also be used to soar over crags and gaps in the mountainous terrain. You'd get it around mid-game I imagine.

Spoink
A ride Pokémon used to travel over land by bouncing. Initially starts moving very slowly but can gain extremely quick speed if momentum is preserved. Cannot turn without stopping. Optional, obtained as a sidequest.
