    What the title says, I just want to try to make a simple firered hack that has Pokemon from both FRLG and GSC. I know or know of the thread that allows me to make it that evolutions can occur without the national dex but I would like it that even the dex entries of the Johto mons could be looked up. I assume that it would be possible to do as I assume there is something that tells the game that the first 151 ae the Kanto dex and the rest are national.
     
    Assuming your hacking firered, you can use CFRU and comment everything you don't want in src/config.h and Change the Kanto or National Dex Counts there as well, and change the order using CFRU
