I have a 32-bit Windows 7 Ultimate desktop, but EVERY time I patch an ips file using LIPS, I`ll get white screen when I open the patched rom using VBA.("the rom has crashed" using no$gba)

THE WORST THING IS, I renamed the clean rom to the name of the ips file (VBA has auto-ips patching). What I get is a white screen with wierd sounds.

Any GBA pokemon hack will fail. Shiny Gold, Genesis, Naranja, Quartz.....All fail!!!!

I dont know whether itz the problem of ips or my PC. I dl-ed the ips from this forum.

Anyone can help me get rid of this problem, or can PM me a link of a working pre-patched Shiny Gold beta 5 rom??(not Shiny Gold X)

Oh, right! I also tested with my 3 other computers! All I get is a white screen! (One XP pro, One XP Home and a Vista Home Premium, all 32-bit)

Could be the ROM, as some sites have "clean" ROMs that aren't. Try downloading a ROM from another site and try it then.
